Red Darkness

Its easy to walk on the line
We all doing it for such a long time
The right is gone the comrad call
A political crime and the nation will fall
We sat down on the floor
The whole gang knew where we did it all for
Singing peaceful songs about freedom
And we asked the civilians to join us, for the fight,
To get our right
But then they came
Like a burning flame
We couldn’t count the dead
cause the streets were colored red
And we never had a chance , no we never had a chance
The first few months we had the strike
Boy, you never know just whats its all like
The pain, the tears and the hunger we had
We had some fun, although the times were bad
And suddenly , there were soldiers all around
Plaintive cries and bullets you couldn’t count
They walked just without a word
And crushed our right
just like it was a piece of dirt
But then they came
Like a burning flame
We couldn’t count the dead
cause the streets were colored red
And we never had a chance , no we never had a chance
